How To Generate Your Own Electricity
Product Review: How To Generate Your Own Electricity
There is an enormous amount of interest in alternative and renewable energy due to a number of factors, not the least being the continued rise in energy costs and of course the growing awareness in the community at large, of Climate Change.
In response to this interest and the need to develop viable alternative sources of energy, many people are looking to generate their own electricity. Whether it be purchasing green electricity from their electricity provider (sourced from renewable systems such as solar and wind energy) or by purchasing and installing complete solar power systems or wind generation systems on their own homes, people are taking the matter into their own hands, one way or another.
In response to this movement there have been quite a number of products come into the market place offering advice, instruction and information on how to create your own solar panels and wind turbines by following simple, step by step instructions.
The problem has been which one of these products is the most valuable?
This review, of two of the most popular products, aims to offer you some insight into which one may suit your needs the best.
I researched the top performing products and found these two particularly appealing in terms of answering some of the needs of people looking to make electricity, either from home solar panels or perhaps a small wind turbine.
Product 1: Energy4Green
This product really packs a punch to the energy companies and if you look at their website they don’t mince their words in response to the rise and rise of the cost of electricity and gas to consumers.
Very rightly, they point out that we are very dependant on electricity and have been locked into buying it – we didn’t really have a choice. Until now. I’m sure this kind of approach is speaking to those in the community who are genuinely disgruntled with the price they have to pay for their electricity and other energy supplies and in this era of economic downturn that’s quite understandable. However, this didn’t appeal to me so much.
Having said that however, they do something really quite well on the Energy4Green site.
They offer a simple to understand explanation of how a solar panel works and there is even a video of a man who has a solar power system installed on his home and he shows you the monitoring and reporting system telling you how much energy it’s generating. I found that really interesting because I’d not seen an operating home solar system before.
Likewise they offer an explanation of the workings of a wind turbine and show you a video of one that is similar to the one they provide step by step instructions for in their product. Pretty cool.
Some more benefits of this product include:
- the product has been tested and found to do exactly what it says it will do
- they offer a 60 day, 100% money back guarantee, which offers peace of mind if you don’t like what you get
- all the materials are readily available at any good hardware store and the tools are likewise common to the average household
- they offer some interesting bonuses too – for those looking to understand the how and the why of alternativeenergy even more. I mean if this pack is a success for you, some of you may want to do even more!
So there is something for everyone, the disgruntled consumer, the eco-friendly energy producer, the technology geek and the more information junkie. In e-book format so you have instant access is great so, all in all a pretty sleek product, with loads of testimonials, bonuses, money back guarantee and video’s to boot. Pretty impressive.
Product 2: Home Made Energy
This product also points an accusatory finger at the big power companies and claims to offer consumers a way out of high energy costs. They do it in a much softer tone than the previous product mentioned above and for some reason that appeals to me more – perhaps I’m just not angry enough!
The Home Made Energy site feels quite home town to me. It shows the name of the man who invented the sytems, it shows pictures of the actual solar panels and windmill that will be created following the instructions in the product. It feels like he is talking to me, and call me old fashioned but I quite like that.
Something else that I liked was the breakdown of where the energy produced (in the USA) comes from and that provides a nice easily understood explanation about why it’s a good idea to reduce our dependance on these current sources and what scope there is for expansion into alternative energy sources and renewable energy sources. Good information.
There are no video’s on this site which is a shame because I quite like them but there are pictures and good ideas for how to use your home made solar panel or wind turbine after you have built them – things like take them camping, or run your shed lights and the like.
Some of the other benefits I discovered about the Home Made Energy product are:
- the inventor of the product has tested it in different locations and applications and found it to be very successful. He states that he was not prepared to bring this information to the market place until he was sure it would work for anyone who tried it.
- there are examples of successful application of the built systems from all over the world, in various locations and climates which is very encouraging.
- 60 day, 100% money back guarantee and after that a support link that will offer after sales service and problem solving if required. I like that too.
So once again I think this product will give you what you are looking for if you are looking to test the waters, so to speak, with creating an electricity generation system at your home. Easy instructions, accessable tools and components, tested, guaranteed and in a format you can access right away – for those like me to like to have their stuff ‘now’!
So there you have it.
- Two information, advice and instruction products for the home energy generation enthusiast or explorer.
- Each appear to provide simple, cost effective introductions to solar energy via home solar panels, and wind energy via wind turbines.
Which one will work best for you?
Only you can decide, so I’ve provided a link to both of these products below. Visit the websites via these links and I know that you will know right away, which one will suit you best. For me, it’s Home Made Energy because I like the personal approach they have taken in their promotional material but in terms of the end product themselves, they appear very similar to their competition.
